Argentina's River Plate teams up with Sorare to issue collectible tokens

The well-known Argentine club River Plate would have signed an agreement with the trading card exchange company registered on the Blockchain Sorare, so that the latter has the image rights over its players to issue new collectible cards, in accordance with what is mentioned by the portal Cointelegraph.

These collectible cards are NFT (non-fungible) tokens registered in an Ethereum Blockchain network, in such a way that it is possible to collect these tokens, in addition to that through the Sorare platform, fans can participate in various competitions by owning their collectible cards .

Currently the platform has 108 associated clubs, of which it has the official license to issue collectible cards of its players, among which are popular clubs such as: Real Madrid of Spain, Liverpool FC of England and FC Bayer München of Germany.
