The Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) has been promoting the use of information and communication technologies in favor of the general public, therefore, within the framework of its activities, the design of the National Intelligence Strategy will be approved. In addition, according to a recent report published by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), artificial intelligence could create more than 133 million jobs in the world, so it is appropriate to make the effort to accelerate the adoption of this new technology in the country.
Similarly, the PCM has been working on four central axes in the process of digital transformation of the State: 1) Strengthening of Digital Governance 2) Promulgation of National Policies and Strategies on Artificial Intelligence, Talent and Digital Innovation, Security and Trust Digital and Data Governance, 3) Implementation of advanced Infrastructure with the National Platform for Digital Government and the National Center for Digital Security and 4) Vision of the Future with the National Center for Digital Innovation and Artificial Intelligence.
