The world-renowned Brazilian soccer player Pelé announced yesterday through his Twitter account that, together with Ethernity Chain, he will launch for sale a non-fungible token that would show one of his plays. The former Brazilian selected in this way would be collaborating with a charitable cause, using Ethernity as the platform to make public auctions of NFT's possible, as reported Cointelegraph.

The fever of non-fungible tokens does not seem to stop, as these goods by offering originality and non-fungibility have allowed them to be closer and closer to being part of the standards of industries such as the arts, real estate, and even digital identity. Although its main use is video games, such as The Sandbox or Alien Worlds, public figures have seen an opportunity to translate their creations through blockchain.

Along with the momentum that this new application of the blockchain is having, decentralized finance is shown as the perfect pair for the creation of digital value to have a real application in a niche market that shows the need to authenticate virtually anything on a blockchain, just as it happens with BEP-20 tokens.
