Most Americans would be against a digital dollar

Un nuevo study of Genesis Mining firm reveals that the majority of US citizens would be against the issuance of digital dollars, which is known as Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).

In the survey conducted by Genesis Mining, results were obtained from 400 participants, of which less than 25% agreed that the paper dollar be replaced by the fully digital dollar, it reported Cointelegraph.

While more than 85% of those surveyed reported being familiar with cryptocurrencies, many associate virtual currencies with criminal activity, which could be one reason for the little support for having a digital dollar.
