El Salvador: Banco Agrícola accepts payment of loan installments with bitcoin

Recently, the Banco Agrícola de El Salvador announced, through its account Twitter, which will allow its customers to make payments of their credit card fees, through bitcoin, in merit of the entry of the Bitcoin Law in that country. They also pointed out that codes for payment can be generated from various electronic wallets.

Another important point that the announcement points out is that, the Agricultural Bank ensures that solutions will be provided for businesses that are adopting bitcoin within their payment platforms, so that their clients can make their payments through the electronic wallets that these choose.

Likewise, they have indicated that, for the design of these solutions, they have worked with the Bancolombia Group, through its technical team to explore the benefits of the application of blockchain technology and digital currencies.

Following this line of adoption by Banco Agrícola, companies such as: Pizza Hut, McDonald's, Starbucks, Claro and Movistar have begun to carry out operations through bitcoin, according to Criptonoticias.
