Bitcoin suffers its second correction so far in 2021

As we reported in a last note, bitcoin, after breaking historical values and reaching USD 41,940, suffered a strong correction that had the effect of falling to USD 9,000. This brought down the values of popular cryptocurrencies like Ether, Ripple, and Cardano.

On January 21 of this year, a new correction occurred that pushed back the value of bitcoin from USD 37,712.36 (value of January 19 of this year), to a minimum of USD 28,953.37 and that, at the time of writing of this note, it is already recovering, being the current value of USD 32,686.68, according to indicated in the portal CoinMarketCap.

Apparently one of the reasons that justifies this second correction could be 380 purchase option contracts of USD 30,000 with expiration on January 29 of this year and the transition of command of the presidency of the United States, which would be an indication of political stability in the market, in accordance with Criptonoticias.
